Hello, my lovelies! Today, I have a project to share with you that I am super duper proud of. This was actually pretty easy and it turned out so great. Talk about maximum yield. Anyone could do this project.
Hey guys! Welcome back to another week! I’m pretty excited about this project. I bought this couch on Kijiji (my favourite as you know) for a whopping $60. Why does anyone buy anything new? Honestly. But it needed some updating. That floral print was just not doing it for me. So, what to do? What do I always do when faced with a design challenge? Chalk paint it, of course!
Welcome back to The Creative Fox Den, everyone! To get everything back up and running, I’m finally writing the post for this table that I made before Cana came. Bad news: I don’t have all the specs for this table as I was in a bit of a rush putting it together. Good news: it’s so so easy that you can definitely put one together yourself.
Welcome back to another week, everyone! Remember a couple months ago when I did a post about hanging laundry baskets and I mentioned that I wasn’t crazy about them? Well, I tweaked the design a little and they are MUCH better now.
It’s Friday! Yay! This week went by really quickly for me and not just because Monday was a holiday here. Probably because it was my first week in my new position so I’ve been learning lots. It’s pretty great. You know what else is great? This lighting fixture!
Welcome back, my lovelies! It’s been a while hasn’t it? I’ve missed you all terribly and now it’s time to get back to work.
What’s this? Two DIY posts in one week? Inconceivable! Well, here’s the deal, I’m doing all my Christmas baking this weekend – that means that you’ll be getting lovely recipes all week long next week. As such, it’s only fair that you get extra DIY posts this week. And these snow globes are just too adorable. Aren’t snow globes magical? I think so. But then again, maybe I’ve watched The Santa Clause too many times. Either way, I love the sparkle and the Christmasness (I’m making this a word) of them. Want to make some of your own? It’s easy!
Who doesn’t love the holidays? Christmas really is the hap-hapiest time of the year. I start celebrating in my heart on November 1st (the second that Halloween is over), but apparently this is a little crazy to people like my husband who can only get into the spirit after December 1st. As such, I’ve held off on Christmas posts up until this point but from here on in, it’s all Christmas all the time. That means holiday recipes, Christmas movies, fun decor projects and DIY Christmas gifts. Lucky you.
I hope you all had a lovely weekend! Mine was filled with putting the last minute touches on a couple projects I’ve been working on so that makes me pretty happy. Remember how I said the hardest part of any project is getting started? Well, that makes the most satisfying part the finishing touches. In between all that, I was able to pull this project together and figured I’d share it with all of you.
This weekend was all about chalk painting. I decided to get to a couple painting jobs that I had been procrastinating and it all looks great! Do you do that too? Hold off on something forever just because you don’t want to start it. Getting started really is the hardest part. Everything else just falls into place. Here’s what happens when you actually start something!
