Welcome back to another week, everyone! I have been up to more painting over the weekend and I must say that I’m really loving this new brand of chalk paint. It’s called Country Chic and it is fabulous.
Welcome back, my lovelies! It’s been a while hasn’t it? I’ve missed you all terribly and now it’s time to get back to work.
Hey guys, sorry this post is coming late in the day – I’ve been so busy today! Eeek! I’ve been busy in general lately and haven’t been keeping up with all of the other lovely blogs out there either. So sorry about that. I’m going to make more of an effort to keep up with it. If I’ve missed one of your recent posts, it’s not intentional, I promise! Please post a link to it in the comments if you want me to read it and I will definitely do so. I’ll also do my best to go back and read them without your prompting.
Hey guys! I know this happened a couple weeks ago and then I never posted the pictures but better late than never, right? Also, I don’t claim to know very much about building decks or anything like that, so I’m just going to share my experiences with you. Actually, the only reason this deck turned out so well is because my dad came over and did all the hard work (showed us how to build the base). Thank goodness for dads who know about decks!
Happy Monday, everyone! Mondays aren’t known as the best day of the week so I decided to help you with the Monday blues by posting a recipe for something delicious to the max. Pie! Apple Pie! Dutch Apple Pie! Dutch Apple Pie with vanilla ice cream! My mouth is watering so much right now. Seriously though, this is an amazing recipe that my mom used to make all the time and now it is my pleasure to share it with you.
Hello all and happy almost Easter! Today, in the spirit of Easter, I have a super easy DIY project for you that you can make today to grace your Easter dinner table tomorrow. I needed to make something that took virtually no time and came out looking great because I have 24 guests coming for dinner (yikes!) and lots of work to do.
I’m going to be honest and admit that this isn’t my recipe at all. It’s just so good though, that I can’t keep it from you. The recipe is actually my father in law’s and only Brandon (my husband) can make it. It’s his specialty and it is delicious. To be completely honest, he didn’t even want me to share it with you (can you believe it?), but I said, “The people have the right to know!” So here we are.
